Shipping Info:
These prints are made especially for each collector upon ordering. Most collectors receive their prints 2-3 weeks after they submit their order. Framing will lengthen the shipping time estimate by around 7-10 days. You will receive a tracking code once the print has shipped. See Shipping tab for more information.

CUSTOM FRAME OPTIONS:
Missy Reno Smith offers several custom frame package options to choose from for most of her paintings and prints. Missy’s custom frames typically cost 25-50% less than what you would pay at your local custom frame shop/counter.
Missy uses only the finest fully archival materials in her frames in order to provide the highest possible protection for the artwork. All mats and backing boards are fully archival. Missy uses Tru Vue’s Conservation Clear acrylic glazing which provides additional UV protection for artworks and prints on fine art paper.
CUSTOM FRAMES:
In addition to the custom frame packages offered on the website, Missy and her team are also able to create fully customized frame packages for original paintings and fine art prints. Simply purchase the unframed artwork/fine art print and use the comment box during checkout to let us know you are interested in a custom frame package and we will get back to you with more information. After you have made your frame selections, a separate invoice will be emailed to you for the cost of your chosen frame.
CUSTOM SCULPTED FRAMES:
Missy can design a completely unique custom frame with decorative patterns, scrollwork, and other sculpted components that compliment her artworks. She designs these frames in Rhino and/or Zbrush and the digital design file is sent to a CNC Milling partner that mills the frame from wood or other special materials. The frame can be stained or painted and finished with special materials such as Gold Leaf, Platinum Leaf, or Mica as desired. Missy’s custom sculpted frames are works of art themselves. The cost will depend on the design complexity, size, materials, and finishing options.
FINE ART PAPER PAINTINGS AND PRINTS:
Framed original paintings on fine art paper come in the frame and ready to hang. If ordering a framed print on fine art paper, the frame may arrive separately from the print. The frame will arrive assembled, though you will need to insert the print into the frame. Instructions and any needed hardware/materials will be included. These frames are shipped to collectors directly from the custom frame supplier to reduce shipping costs and help us all be better stewards of God’s resources. Please keep in mind that the frames typically arrive before the print. Please inspect your frame upon delivery and then store it somewhere safe until the print arrives.
CANVAS PAINTINGS AND PRINTS:
While paintings and prints on fine art paper must be framed under glass or acrylic, canvases can be hung on the wall with or without a frame. Missy uses 1.5″ deep stretcher bars to stretch her paintings and prints on canvas. Prints on canvas are gallery wrapped, the printed image is mirrored and wrapped around the 1.5″ deep stretcher bars for a professional finish. Missy also paints the edges of her original artworks on canvas for the same effect. This ensures a beautiful finish from every angle.
For a professional finish on the back, a canvas-like matte tape is applied over the staples to create clean finish. A wire hanger is installed on the back approximately 2/3 of the way up from the bottom of the canvas and a picture hanger wall hook is included for hanging. See photo below.
Framed original paintings on canvas come in the frame and ready to hang. If ordering a framed print on canvas, the frame may arrive separately from the print. The frame will arrive assembled, though you will need to insert the canvas print into the frame. Instructions and any needed hardware/materials will be included. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Shipping fees are higher for larger, heavy items, especially when shipping internationally. While you are certainly able to order a framed print or painting, it may be more cost effective to have your artwork/print framed locally if you live outside of the US. You can compare the framing and shipping costs by adding the framed art to the cart and then entering your address on the checkout page. Remove the framed art and repeat with the unframed option. We are also happy to ship paintings and prints on canvas unstretched so they can be shipped in a tube, your local frame shop can then stretch the painting on 1.5″ deep canvas stretcher bars.
