Fine Art Commissions

Missy creates Fine Art like any other professional artist, her subjects just so happen to be inspired by Heaven and its inhabitants. You can commission a painting or sculpture for yourself or as a gift for someone else.

Art Medium Options

Missy creates art using various art mediums such as-

Watercolor

Missy uses watercolors by Old Holland and Daniel Smith on Arches Aquarelle Paper.

Artworks on fine art paper must be framed behind glazing for protection.

Acrylic

Missy uses Acrylic paint by Old Holland and Williamsburg on museum quality stretched canvas.

Canvases are stretched on 1.5" or 2" deep stretcher bars. Edges are always finished so you can hang your painting with or without a frame.

Oil

Missy uses oil paint by Old Holland and Williamsburg on museum quality stretched canvas or wooden boards.

Canvases are stretched on 1.5" or 2" deep stretcher bars. Edges are always finished so you can hang your painting with or without a frame.

Digital & Mixed Media

Digital

Missy uses Corel Painter, Procreate, Rebelle, and/or Photoshop to create her Digital Paintings. These are handpainted works of art like any other painting except Missy uses digital brushes and colored pixels rather than animal hair brushes and colored pigments.

Digital artworks are printed on Fine Art Paper or Canvas with Canon or Epson Fine Art Pigment Inks. These museum quality inks and substrates will last hundreds of years without fading with proper care.

Mixed Media

Missy's Mixed Media Artworks are Digital and Traditional Hybrid Paintings. Missy starts the painting digitally, prints that image on fine art paper or canvas, and then finishes the painting with traditional paint (watercolor, acrylic, or oil).

Bronze Sculptures

Missy sculpts digitally using Zbrush, Rhino, and Daz. Her digital sculpture files are sent to a Bronze Foundry for 3D Printing, Molding, and Casting in Bronze.

Bronze sculptures can be small table top artworks, life size, or even monumental sized sculptures. Genuine gemstones or faceted glass can be set into the bronze. Missy's sculptures can also be designed with light, fire, or even water features.

Custom stands are available. Professional installation can be arranged for large bronze statues or wall hangings.

Some common subject options Missy allows you to choose from include-

Angels

Commission Process

Missy now offers two ways to start an art commission! You can fill out the Commission Consultation Request Form below or purchase one of the available Art Commission Listings in Missy's Shop.

Consultation

To book your Fine Art Commission Consultation, you can either submit the Commission Form or you can purchase an Art Commission Service in Missy's Shop. We will send you a link to Missy's calendar so you can choose a spot for your consultation appointment.

Consultations last about 30 minutes which gives you and Missy time to discuss your options for the artwork.

Artwork Medium

Artwork Type- Painting or Sculpture

Medium- Watercolor, Acrylic, Oil, Digital, Mixed Media (Digital & Traditional Hybrid), Bronze.

Painting Substrate- Fine Art Paper, Canvas

Special Materials- Gold or Platinum Leaf, Gemstones (powdered to mix into paints or faceted stones set into bronze), UV Glow Pigments, etc.

Artwork Size

Paintings

Commissioned paintings must be at least 24 linear inches. A 12" x 12" is an example of 24 linear inches (Length + Width = Linear Inch Total, 12" + 12" = 24"). An 11' x 14" is an example of 25 linear inches (11" + 14" = 25").

The maximum size, without the added costs of having a specialty canvas custom made and stretched, is around 40" x 60".

Sculptures

Missy requires commissioned sculptures to be at least 15" in height. The maximum dimensions are really only limited by your budget and the space it will be installed in.

The bronze foundry Missy partners with can make life sized and even monumental sized sculptures for private or public installation.

Subject Choice

Subject options include Angels, Guides, Loved Ones, Past Lives, Celestial Bodies, and Heavenly Scenes.

During your fine art commission consultation, Missy will connect with you and tell you who or what she is able to see.

For example, if you want a portrait of a Guardian Angel, Missy may describe more than one and allow you to choose which one she will paint (or perhaps you want them all in the portrait). Most people have at least 2 or 3 Angels and Guides.

If you want a past life portrait, Missy must look at a few of your past lives with help from your Angels and Guides and possibly help from you in the form of a Regression (any session type, including regressions, can be added onto fine art commissions at half price). You have lived many past lives, your Angels will help you and Missy find one that is perfect for a portrait.

See the Subject Options tab above for more subject details. You and Missy can also come up with an entirely new subject idea for your artwork.

Style Options

Missy typically strives for Realism in her artworks but she is also enjoys creating Figurative, Surrealism, and even Abstract art.

We encourage you to find artwork examples you like, whether from Missy's collection or any other artist's collection. Missy will never copy another artist's style but it can certainly serve as inspriation.

Color Palette

Color is a very important part of any artwork so Missy takes time to choose her palettes very carefully. She uses Adobe's Color Palette Software to help her fine tune the palette. Missy creates a color mood board once you and her finalize the palette.

You can be as involved in this selection as you want. Some collectors will just have Missy select all of the colors based on what she sees in her mind's eye and on her knowledge of color theory. Some give her a basic idea of what they want or what will coordinate well in their home and some like to help choose each major color in the palette.

To provide examples, you can simply link Missy to photos, artworks, swatches, or anything else that displays a color or set of colors that you like.

Missy uses a monitor that is color calibrated for digital art creation. The colors that Missy's sees on her screen may look different on your screen since it most likely hasn't been calibrated for art creation in the same way.

Most collectors are okay with slight differences but if you need a very specific color match, it is best to send a physical example of the color/s you want. Some collectors have sent Missy fabric swatches or even paint color samples from the hardware store.

If you purchase a commission listing, your artwork will cost exactly what you paid unless you decide to add something not included or upgrade any of the included options. Missy offers payment plan options for commissioned artworks. Typically, 50% is due before Missy begins work and the remaining is due before the artwork is shipped to you (or before sculptures are molded and cast).

Missy offers PayPal and AfterPay payment options, and they offer installment plans (this is between the buyer and the payment processor, Missy doesn't have control over what they offer or who they offer it to).

Fees

Artwork fees vary based on the art medium, substrate, size, complexity, special materials, and framing. Missys fees are subject to change, your quote will expire and need to be drawn up again if you do not sign before the stated expiration.

Missy is a professional artist. Her prices reflect her talents and the demand for her art and services.

With AI generated images now available, Missy is seeing new "psychic artists" that offer "a portrait of your soul mate, Angel, etc." that look like speed sketches at best and AI generated images at worst. Some claim to provide this "art" on the very same day or within a few days which is a giant red flag.

Missy creates real art as only a living, breathing human can using her natural artistic talents, knowledge of art and color theory, experience with various art mediums, and her evidence-based mediumship. She spends many hours on each artwork, each brushstroke shows the love and attention that Missy gives to it.

Contract

Initial Proposal & Quote-

After the consultation, Missy will create a proposal and quote for the artwork. You will have the opportunity to make changes to this proposal and have a new quote generated to reflect those changes.

Once the quote is right, you will need to approve it. Please pay attention to the expiration date which is typically 60-90 days. If you wait longer, a new quote can be generated upon request.

Contract & Downpayment-

The official contract is drawn up and the invoice for the downpayment is sent after you approve the quote.

This contract will include all of the details about the artwork to be created, a general timeline for creation, and all fee information and payment terms.

You will be able to sign the contract electronically and pay the invoice online.

If you paid for the artwork through a shop listing already and you did not add any upgrades to the plan, you will not see an invoice.

Creation

After you have signed the contract and paid any downpayment that is owed, Missy will begin work on your artwork (unless noted in your contract that work begins at a later date).

Missy prefers to work straight through. She will consult with you during creation if she requires feedback from you on color, style, or composition (necessary only if you have very specific requests for the artwork).

Most paintings are completed in just a few weeks but some paintings, like oil paintings, could take longer.

Sculptures are a very labor intense process. It takes Missy 2-4 weeks to complete her sculpture. Once completed, you will be billed for any balance that is still owed. Once that is paid, the file is sent off to the foundry for casting. The casting process takes another 6-8 weeks to finish.

Completion

When the Painting is completed, the final balance, if any, must be paid. When that goes through, Paintings are then sent to the custom framer to be framed if one was included, this takes about 5-7 days. The paintings are then boxed or crated and shipped to the collector along with their Certificate of Authenticity.

When sculture artworks are completed (meaning Missy's digital sculpture), any balance owed must be paid, and then the file is sent to the foundry for casting. Their process takes 6-8 weeks on average. When it is completed, they will crate the bronze and send it directly to you. Missy will ship you the Certificate of Authenticity.

If professional installation was added to your commission, you will be contacted by that company to coordinate a date and time for the installation.
